He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Loftsgard and Olga Loftsgard (Brubakken); his aunt Bessie; his uncle A. N. Midgarden; his mother-in-law Maudie Stoller; his siblings-in-law, Rose Stoller and Ron Eggleston; and his sons-in-law, Robert Miller and David MacDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Todd Loftsgard (Barbara) of San Diego, CA, Liana Miller of Jamestown, ND, Shelley Sharp (Tom), Beth Loftsgard, Denise MacDonald and Peter Loftsgard (Debbie); and his siblings, Margaret Fedje of Coeur D'Alene, ID and Robert Fedje (Laurie) of Casper, WY.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren as well as many friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (413 E D Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
