He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Lucas and Lydia Lucas (Hildabrand); his wife Alice Bentz; his grandsons, Rodney Lucas and Casey Lucas; his siblings, Viola Dovre, Aloys Lucas and Roy Lucas; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Lucas.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Lucas (Mary) of Minot, ND, Barry Lucas (Sandra) of Mandan, ND and Debra Tibor (John) of Mandan, ND; his grandchildren, Jessica Morales (Luis) of Minnesota, Brent Lucas (Angela) of Bismarck, ND and Lucas Tibor (Anessa) of South St; his great grandchildren, Eve Tooley of Minot, ND, Kalen and Ava Lucas of Bismarck, ND; his sister Lydia Lucas of Chicago, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Gerry Lucas and Eldora Marvin (Steve) of Riverside, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
