It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Margaret Karabensh (Bismarck, North Dakota), who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Karabensh and Catherine Karabensh (Rothschiller); and her siblings, Elsie Larson, Charlotte, Catherine Schmidt, Ann Haider, Carl, Richard and Jack Karabensh.
She is survived by: her sisters, Caroline Maher of Bloomington, MN and Marian; and her brother-in-law Art Zueger of Mandan, ND.
At the height of the COVID pandemic, she sounded the chime at Evening Prayer, corresponding with the number of COVID deaths as reported in North Dakota that day.
