He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael Kessel and Margaret Kessel (Klein); his former wife Betty; and his siblings, Tony, Nicola, Jackie, Richard, Ed (Arb), Raymond, Rose Kessel, Betty Schocker, Veronica Dukart and Margaret Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Murschel; his children, Denise Kukuk (Bill) of New Salem, ND, Julie Kling (Tim), Theresa Kellington and Robin Kessel (Kellie) of Incline Village, NV; his grandchildren, Krystal, Jon, Kim, Russell, Colton, Keane Kira (Lexi Nieuwsma), Kaden and Kai; his brother-in-law Merl Anderson of Detroit Lakes, MN; his stepchildren, Sarah Stiefel (Greg), Amy Murschel of Minneapolis, MN, Andrea Murschel of Sierra Vista, AZ and Scott Murschel (Laura) of Cincinnati, OH; and his stepgrandchildren, Addison, Sofia, Emmitt, Maggie and James. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be directed to the donor's choice in memory of Robert.
