He is survived by: his children, Terry Martel (Shelly), Eric Martel (Lisa) and Stacey Hakanson (Mark); his siblings, Dorothy, Marvin (Donna) and Linda (Dean); his niece Joey; his grandchildren, Ciara (Tyler), Jake, Alexa (Michael), Tate, Johnathan (Tana), Jesston and Jaron (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Landry, Rafe, Scout, Beau, Kennedie, Jax, Harper, Josie, Oaklynn, Wrenley and Sienna; and his close friends, Chuck McIlwain, Mac and Willy Heinrich. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family also suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial trees may be planted in Rick's honor.
