Grabar Sr. and Mary Mildred Grabar (Wiggens); his wife Loretta Dick of Mary's Catholic; his daughter-in-law Judy Grabar; his grandson Eric Jantzer; his great grandchild Kalysta Grabar; his brother William Grabar; and his siblings-in-law, Paticia Grabar, Angeline Vogle, Eunice Gion, Tony Klein, Raymond Vogle and Paul Gion.

He is survived by: his children, John Grabar of Bismarck, Ardyth Renden (Mike) of Bismarck, Denise Cowan (Bob) of Naples, FL, Steven Grabar (Barb) of Fargo, ND, Pamela Jantzer (Joel) of Overland Park, KS, Susan Thompson (Tracy) of Scottsdale, AZ, Mark Grabar (Stacy) of Topeka, KS and Patricia Butzer (Al) of Keller, TX; and his sister-in-law Cecelia Klein. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
