With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pete Fredericks of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pete Fredericks to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fredericks and Catherine Fredericks (Medicine Stone); and his siblings, Keith, Ken, Buddine, Davine, Juanita and Buzz.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Terry Fredericks (Glenna), Sherry King, PJ Fredericks (Jaylen), Billy Joe Fredericks, Patty Kaye Fredericks, Sarah Kiefer (Fran), Nancy Meyer (Eric), Crystal RealBird (Gordon), Torrie Fredericks (Wayne) and Justin Fredericks; his stepchildren, Jay Crouse (Erna) and Shaun Hemmesch (Maria); and his siblings, Thomas Fredericks (Judy) and Betts Gress. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

His contributions to both rodeo and ranching have left a lasting impact on the community and the state of North Dakota.
