It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michel Leary of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Bus" Leary and Bertha Leary; his sister Kathy Leary; and his brothers-in-law, Al Gillette and Frank Schmaltz.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hamel (Donald), Jacalyn Crooks, Jessica McKissick (Daniel), Caun Fossum, Ryan Fischer (Marei), Kelly Tice (Scott) and Katie Leary; his grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, Emily, Allison, Jacob, Brody, Charlie and Dylan; and his siblings, Patty Schmaltz (Gene), Jacque Gillette, Bill Leary (Linda) and Kenny Leary. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
