She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Gries and Rosie Gries; her brothers, Helmuth and Adelbert; her husbands, Allen and Arnold; and her son Steve.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia Opp (Steve), Miriam Laska (Gary) and Jee Eun Kim; her daughter-in-law Cindy Opp; and her grandchildren, Michael (Chelsea), Angela (Patrick), Maria (Phil), Jonathan, Sheldon and Heidi. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
