It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on February 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her child Montgomery Keith Lee; her grandson Landon Lind; her parents, Iver Nelson and Annie Nelson; and her siblings, Adrian Nelson (Olga), Francis Rogers (Vern) and Leland Nelson (Bernice).

She is survived by: her children, Kari Schultz (Stan) and Lance Lee (Marie Metzgar); her grandchildren, Nicholas Schultz (Parish Mechling), Dillon Lee (Liz Reid), Brayden, Dominik Metzger, Arianna Marie Lee, Yolanda and Erald Gjoni (Brandi); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Anna, Julia, Elijah Perez, Jacob and Eden Gjoni. She is also survived by her family and friends.

“I worked with Mary for a number of years and our friendship grew during that time. Mary was the consummate professional. Always anticipating things that needed to be done and being the first to the task. Mary always had a smile for those she came in contact with. Mary donated her time and talent to the ND Republican party as an officer of the state organization. Mary always looked forward to her grandkids visits in the summer. Mary will be missed. Ted Gladden”
