He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Stein; his brother Robert Stein; his grandparents, John, Margaret Stein, George and Rose Kautzman; and his close friend Kurt Kunz.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Stein of Mandan; and his siblings, Bonnie Schlosser (Perry) of Mandan, Karen Stein (Sherrie) of Port Angeles, WA, Al Stein (Carol) of Bismarck, Tim Stein (Terrie) of Cleveland, TN and Jon Stein. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, & a few great grand nieces & nephews; along with many cousins & friends.
