He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Klein and Marion Klein (Feist); and his siblings, Regina, Pete and Delores.

He is survived by: his wife Clarissa; his children, Tina Schumacher (Tom) and Troy Klein (Donia) of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Shauna Dinga (Chase) of Bismarck, Angela Hintz (Karson) of Hazen, Cole of Bismarck and Cash Klein of Bismarck; his great grandchildren, David, Josie, Hattie and Hayden; and his siblings, Marcella, Sue, Carol, Leo and Bob.

“I worked with Mark for many years and would often stop in at their home to visit. Mark was a great guy and a good friend. I will miss his laughter and his love of country music blaring on the radio. He often changed the lyrics of the songs to suit his mood which added more laughter in the shop. He was a skilled mechanic who could fix most anything. My deepest condolences to the family in this painful time.”
