He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Treiber and Emma Treiber; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Schettler (Anne) and Roger Ives; his wife Carole; his siblings, Duane, Donald and Arlene Magstadt; his siblings-in-law, Richard Magstadt, Curtis Lavine, Delbert, Kay Schettler, Katherine Voigt (Kay), Marlene Ives and Donald Sorensen; and his granddaughter Laisha While.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betsy Treiber of Minnesota and Erin Mandadapu (Sudhir) of Minnesota; his stepchildren, Michelle Glaser (Jeff), Wade While (Jenny) of Mobridge, SD and Terry While (Larrianna) of Mobridge, SD; his grandchildren, Matthew Howell (Heather), Shane Howell, Matt Glaser, Lauren Schmidt (Michael), Terra Glaser, Lexy Tabbert (Luke), Cody and Samantha While; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Kole Howell, Brycen, Kaycen Howell and Arena Tabbert; his siblings, Armin Treiber (Lorraine) and Emma Lou Lavine; and his sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Sorensen (Jackie) and LaDonna Treiber. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
