He was predeceased by: his parents, August Christian and Louise Christian; his wife Mary; his sister Ardella; his brother-in-law Robert Schwagler; his brother Marlen Christian; his nephew Ethan Hoger; his parents-in-law, Gene and Ardeen Hart; and his siblings-in-law, Morry and Jean Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, LeeAnn Sams (Steve), Jodi Bergeson and Alan Christian (Nicole); his grandchildren, Kristie Ober (James), Kari Lindberg, Stephanie Chirillo (Jordan), Emily Bergeson (Cody) and Cooper Christian; his child Catelyn Christian; his great grandchildren, Noah, Henry, August and Oliver; his brother Randy Christian (Linda); his sister-in-law Sheila Christian; and his aunt Bernice Scherer. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
