He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Silbernagel and Felix Silbernagel; and his sisters, Ann, Mary, Lena, Lilian and Arlie.
He is survived by: his children, Lex (Karen), JoLynn (Dave), Diane (Bill) and Lori (Eric); his grandchildren, Michael (Nikki), Jessica (Steve), Jim (Sarah), Liz (Joseph), Katie (Indira), Quinn (Brooklyn) and Tommy; his great grandchildren, Rennick, Jacob, Calli, Owen, Luca, Rosie, Arlo and Ellis; and his siblings, Maggie, Eugenia, Eddie, Valerie, Robert and Joey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Corpus Christi (1919 N 2nd St, Bismarck, ND 58501). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
