He is survived by: his children, Larry Grundhauser of Bismarck, ND, Janet James (Dennis) of Bismarck, ND, Nancy Duletski (John) of Belfield, ND and Carol Schwenk of Gales Ferry, CT; his grandchildren, Mark Herold (Sarah) of Bismarck, ND, Amy Yates (Shane) of Fargo, ND, Janna Rodakowski (Joe) of Dickinson, ND, Katie Serr (Craig) of Hazelton, ND, Ryan Duletski (Jen) of Bismarck, ND, Daniel Duletski (Carla) of Dickinson, ND, James Duletski (Jess) of Castleton, ND, Brian Schwenk (Lori) of Southbury, CT, Jackie Schwenk of Orlando, FL and Kevin Schwenk (Meghan) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his stepgrandsons, Andy James (Laurie) of Thousand Oaks, CA and Mathew James (Trisha) of Lincoln, ND. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (437 Main St, New England, ND 58647).
