He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Rinkel and Thelma Rinkel (Karn); his wife Davetta Rinkel; and his brothers, Ralph Rinkel and William Rinkel.
He is survived by: his stepson Monte Engel (Cathleen) of Bismarck, ND; and his sister Joan Weber (Raymond) of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
