John Novak Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Novak (Bismarck, North Dakota), who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Novak and Mary Novak (Jelinek); his parents-in-law, William and Stella Hruby; his siblings, Mark J. Novak, Bruno Novak, Cleo Novak and Mary Rita Swartz; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Novak, Caroline Fox, Beverly Wicklander, Jack Hruby and Glenn Swartz.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Hruby; his daughters, Laura Novak of Bismarck and Nicole Owings (Rick) of Bismarck; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Novak of Grafton, ND and Alice Pfennig (Paul) of Janesville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He and Ann also did volunteer work through RSVP and St. Alexius Hospital.
