It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Griffin (Bismarck, North Dakota), who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Griffin and Jeanette Griffin; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Lorraine Selinger. He is survived by: his wife Shari Selinger; his daughter Annie Nagel (Rich); his grandson Asher; his daughter Julie Sandvig (Randy); his grandchildren, Bennett and Ava; his siblings, Karen Griffin, Bob Griffin, Dan Griffin (late Kathy), Paul Griffin (Julene), Lowie Griffin (Lynn Iverson), Mike Griffin (Lucy Brown) and Marge Griffin; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Hanson (Keith), Missy Hanson (Lee), Bruce Selinger (Brenda) and Dave Selinger (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral and Cremation Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A rosary was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit (519 Raymond St, Bismarck, ND 58501). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
