He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John W. Gordon and Joan Gordon; his wife Barbara; and his son Brian Gordon. He is survived by: his children, John W. IV (Kate), Robert A. (Melissa) and Jean Root (Tony) of Caputa, SD; his grandchildren, John Gordon V, Jason Gordon, Elizabeth Jehangiri, Austin Murtha and Julia Gordon; and his brother Don Gordon (Lisa) of Moorpark, CA.. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
