He was predeceased by: his parents, Delton and Louise; and his stepfather Gerald Friese. He is survived by: his spouse Frances Volk; his daughters, Jessica Weigum (Chris Locken) and Amber Lennick (Mitch); and his brothers-in-law, Gary Volk (Karen) and Ben Volk (Connie). He is also survived by his cousins; nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
