James Lee Wells Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lee Wells of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayden Lockey Wells and Clara Leota Wells-Richardson; his nephew Doug Luker; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Schwab-Varsoke. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Wells; his stepsons, Trent Bossert and Evan Bossert; his daughter-in-law Lindsay Bossert; his grandchildren, Aubrey Bossert and Dylan Bossert; his siblings, Hayden Wells and Sondra Luker; his siblings-in-law, Judy Wells, Kay Junta, Brenda Regan, Robin Taylor, Kevin Regan, Brad Taylor, Todd Schwab and Chris Varsoke; his nieces, Sandy Billecci and Melissa Hibbard; his nephew Cris Wells; his nephews-in-law, Frank Billecci and Clayton Hibbard; his parents-in-law, Gerald Wells and Ann Schwab; and his close friends, Rodney Mattern, Randy Schwab and Anthony Regan. He is also survived by five great-nephews; three great-nieces; three great-great-nephews; one great-great-niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Nd State Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
