With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Kratovil in Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kratovil and Mary Kratovil; and his sister Judy Perry. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Heppner Kratovil; his children, Heather Kratovil Magnus of Holly Springs and Tony Kratovil; and his grandchildren, Brad Magnus Jr. of Bismarck, Bethany Magnus of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Joseph Kratovil of Houghton, Michigan, Anthony Kratovil of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nicholas Magnus of Bismarck and Amber Magnus of Montreal, Quebec..
