She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Weltz and Alvina Weltz (Lang); her husband Raymond L. Schmidt; her son-in-law George W. Hanna; and her siblings, Alice Huber (Ted) and Ervin Weltz.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Hanna; her grandchildren, Gussie Anderson (Les) and George Hanna (Amy); her son Bruce Schmidt (Carol); her grandsons, Mike Schmidt (Diana) and Joe Schmidt (Lindy); her daughter Faye Laqua (Lenny); her grandchildren, Steve Laqua (Patty), Jason Laqua (Chris Frett) and Julie Parrow (Jesse); her daughter Diana "Cookie" Peterson (Jerry); her grandchildren, Heather Jarski (Paul) and Jerome Jr. "Allan" Peterson; her brother Clarence Weltz (Rosalie); and her siblings-in-law, Cherraine Weltz and Leroy Schmidt. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
