With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Jacobson of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Melvin Jacobson and Geneva Jacobson (Lystne); his sons, Mark Jacobson and Jeff Jacobson; and his brother Lee (Bonnie Jacobson).
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Jacobson; his son Jim Jacobson (Sandra); his stepdaughter Dawn Roberson; his grandchildren, Sommer Noethlich, Brianne Hoffman (Joe), Jeremy Jacobson (Dawn) and Sean Jacobson; his great grandchildren, Anthony, Samuel Noethlich, Holden, Bennett Hoffman and Marcus Jacobson; his siblings, Robert Jacobson (Yvonne), Wallace Jacobson (Linda), Sandra Christensen (Raymond) and Patricia Grossman (Robert); his friend Don Underwood; his brother-in-law Rev. Doug Sathren (Arlyce); his friends, Dan, Linda Roberson and Dominique Buchholz (McFall); and his pet Sophie.
The family requests memorials be given to Hugh's favorite charities: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or any animal-related causes, as he deeply cared for all of God's creatures.
