He was predeceased by: his parents, Jürgen Eggers and Anni Eggers (Ehlers); his spouse Berit Holtskog-Peterson; his brothers, Hans and Helmut; his grandsons, Erik Eggers and Grant Eggers; and his great grandchild Paul Farrell.

He is survived by: his daughter Ann Peterson Farrell; his grandchild Chris Farrell (Toni); his great grandchildren, Catherine, Elliott, Greg Peterson, Hans Eggers, Rolf Eggers (Leah) and Mark Eggers (Mary); and also, Brant, Kurt, Evan, Rose, Conrad, Liam, Hannah, Alex and Kristin (Estefano Fennis Wiegmans).

Memorials may be given to Heaven's Helpers Soup Kitchen or Ministry on the Margins.
