It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Bless of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kirby and Goldie Kirby (Wyatt); her sister Joanne Molheiser; her children, Hal Bless and Peggy Sue Snyder (Ernie); and her grandchildren, Angela Louise Helfenstein and Mathew Heilman.
She is survived by: her husband Martin Bless; her children, Robert Helfenstein (Cathy), Nancy Heilman (Daryl), John Bless, Gary Bless (Kim), Kathy Hsu and Joyce Jensen (Rick); and her children-in-law, Rae Bless and Bill Snyder. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the DaWise-Perry Funeral Services (4614 Memorial Hwy, Mandan, ND 58554). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
