He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudoph "Rudy" Uttke and Emma Uttke (Friesz); his wife Charlotte Adler of John's Lutheran Church; his parents-in-law, Jacob and Linda Adler; his stepmother-in-law Hilda Adler; his sister Ella; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Adler and Clayton Fuchs.
He is survived by: his children, Wes Uttke (Georgia), Michelle Holwegner (E. Dean), Sharon German (Roger) and Paul Uttke (Nicole); his granddaughters, Trish Jacobs (Ryan) and Desiree Lokken (Matt); his children, D. J. Holwegner, Jen Holwegner (Moses Tamili), Allison Traiser (Andrew), Olivia German (Cameron Erbele) and Jakob German; his great grandchildren, Gabby Jacobs, Lenny Lokken, Sima, Malosi Timali, Weston and Jackson Traiser; and his siblings, Victor Uttke (Ethelyn), Bernice Fuchs and Lucille Bender (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A prayer will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1402 E Ave C, Bismarck, ND 58501).
