He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" McIntyre. He is survived by: his mother Wilma McIntyre (Backer) of Bismarck, ND; his siblings, Jeffrey McIntyre of Saint Peter, MN and Cindy Eckroth (Randy) of Bismarck, ND; his children, Shanon Zimney (Sherri) of Maurice, LA, Joe Zimney (Lucy) of Jamestown, ND, Dustin Zimney (Alesha) of Jamestown, ND, Savannah Arnott (James) of Minot, ND and William "Bill" McIntyre (Amber) of Ypsilanti, ND; his niece Breann "Munchkin" McIntyre (Nikki); his nephews, Kyle Eckroth (Jude Green) and Jesse Eckroth; and his close friend Peggy Ziegler. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
