He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Schauer and Walter Schauer. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Schauer; his children, Michael Schauer (Ann), Shelly Schiele (Jebb) and Mitch Schauer (Dana); his grandchildren, Tya and Tucker Schiele; his children, Sheridan, Jillian, Hayden and Eve Schauer; and his siblings, Daryl Schauer (Michelle), Roger Schauer (Dallas), Lynn Schauer (Linda), Connie Gentzkow (Randy), Annette Godtland (Paul), Susan Hill (Larry) and Irene Schatz (John).
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
