With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Reis (Bismarck, North Dakota), born in Strasburg, North Dakota, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reis and Regina Reis (Schumacher); and his brothers, Ed, Herman, John, Leo and Gerald Reis.
He is survived by: his wife Luvina Kiefer; his children, David Reis (Nancy), Frank Reis (Tammy), Daniel Reis (Lori), Cynthia Lund (Truman) and Sandra Gimbel (Jamie); and his sister Helen Senger (Irvin). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Veterans Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
