With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor Akidakis of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Schields and Amelia Schields (Lindemann); her husband Clifford E. Akidakis of Beulah; her siblings, Richard Schields, Ted Schields, Ray Schields, Tillie Sandau, Edna Raber, Hertha Schields, Irene Brandtner and Hilda Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Albin Sandau, Ernie Raber, Deniss Brandtner, Leo Miller and Leona Schields.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Charlotte Schields of Dickinson, ND..
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
