He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Jensen and Blanche Jensen (Erickson); his son Charles Jensen; his grandson Cullen Oothoudt; his sisters, Zona (Vince Schilz) and June (Bob Imhoff); and also Mavis Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Della of Bismarck; his children, Eric of Bismarck and Dawn of Bismarck; his brother Alfred Jensen (Buzz) of Watertown; his stepchildren, Chad Mettler of Timber Lake, SD, Derek Mettler of McLaughlin, SD, Lawrele Johnson (Steven) of Bismarck and Miranda Aberle of Mandan; his grandchildren, Meagan, Sydnee, Cole, Cami, Carsyn Mettler, Kristie Lanke (Dustin), Elias, Emelia Johnson, Nathan (Brynn) and Reed Oothoudt; and his great grandchild Presten Lanke. He is also survived by six nieces and one nephew.
He wrote the first draft of his obituary at the on-set of his Alzheimer's diagnosis.
