She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Schmaltz and Barbara Schmaltz; her sons, Lonnie and James; and her brother Elmer.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Wanner; her children, Kim Stenger (Ken) of Dent, MN, Jason Wanner (Dani) of Cedar Falls, IA and Chris Kuhn (Theresa) of Apple Valley, MN; and her siblings, Catherine "Cathy" Mitzel (Van), Petronia Laine, Phyllis Melhoff (Jewel), Mary Ann Wolf (Dale) and John Schmaltz (Mary Richter).
