He is survived by: his children, Su Brown and Mike Brown; his grandchildren, Hannah and Noah; his great grandchild Cylus; his siblings, Jackie Ochsner and Curtis Brown; his sister-in-law Beatriz Colebank; and his friend Roger Schroeder. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
