He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary Agnes, Curtiss Balcom and Robert Hixson; and his cousin Lisa Moltzen. He is survived by: his parents, James Balcom (Sue) and Sara Balcom; his son Jacob Ernesto Balcom; his sister Jessica Heidrich (John); his stepsiblings, Claire Barnhard (Jason) and Adam Bartholomew (Kelsey); and his nieces and nephews, Daniel James Balcom, Elle Waldoch, Audenia Barnhard, Lucy, Oliver and Finley Bartholomew.
