He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Olmsted and Katherine Olmsted; his brothers, Ronald and Gary; and his in-laws, Peter, Rosemary Kocher and Darlene Olmsted.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Kocher; his children, Kelly Thompson (Corey), Suzanne Thorenson (Sean), Doug Olmsted (Karmen) and Nancy Olmsted; his grandchildren, Casey, Carter, Hayden Thompson, Mason, Chase Thorenson (Autumn), Sid, Ike and Ivy Olmsted; his sisters, Joann Copeland (Carl), Judy Nelson (Steve) and Vicky Weisenberger (Allen); and his sister-in-law Shirley Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to the Bismarck Memory Cafe at 607 N. 6th St., Bismarck, ND 58501.
