She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Larson and Madge Larson (Fleming); her husband Gordon Schimke; her children, David, Karla and Tammy Vetter; and her brothers, Duane, Herbert, Marvin and Russell.
She is survived by: her daughter Jodi Erfle; her son-in-law Kevin Vetter; her grandchildren, Brandon Vetter (Robyn), Shanna Ellingboe (Tom), Nicholas Vetter (Shelby) and Austin Erfle; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Allison Vetter and Dax Ellingboe; and her sister Jeanne Melby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
