He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Graff and Rose Graff (Post); his wife Kay; and his sister Elaine Scipioni (Johnny). He is survived by: his children, Heidi Hollowell (Skip) of Columbus, OH and Jason Graff (Kaaren) of Cincinnati, OH; his stepchildren, Angela Mellon, Terri Mellon and Jay Mellon (Jill); his grandchildren, Erin, Sean (Rachel), Zara and Zayla; and his stepgrandchildren, Mamie, Ewan, Henry, Medora, Julian and Joshua.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Benny's memory can be made to the Dakota Zoo, the Abused Adult Resource Center or the Library Foundation.
