She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lysne and Agnes Lysne. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Haus; her children, Ronald Haus (Debra) of Granbury, TX, Daniel Haus (Jacalyn), Julie Lenzen (Ben) and Beulah; her grandchildren, Kelli Haus, Jesse Haus (Sara), Traci Anderson (Lance), Kristi Carlson (Casey), Sasha Myers (Chad) and Ross Lenzen (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Josh, Walker, Camille, Ella, Bennett, Nolan, Annika, Ava, Nora, Lucas, Bentley, Parker and Morgan; her brother-in-law Raymond Haus (LiJeng); her parents-in-law, Edward and Sophia Haus; her brother Curtis Lysne (Janet); her sisters-in-law, LaVerne Pfeiffer (Wally), Rita Wood and Aiko Haus; her nephew Rick Lysne; and her grandson Ben Lenzen Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial to Good Shepheard Lutheran Church, ND Veteran's Cemetery or her last home, Edgewood Village Memory Care.

Herb and Arlys, a young couple, rented the basement apartment in my parents' house. Arlys was a caring, loving and good mother. Later, she always had a big hug for me when I picked up my rental cars. Danny ensured my rental cars were easy for my mother, Katherine Dressler, to get in and out of. Betty Jane Dressler Mohberg”
