It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anton Welder in Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Napoleon, North Dakota, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Jill Marie Welder; his parents, Paul Welder and Theresa Welder; and his sister Marilyn Neigum. He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Jacobson (Jared) and Renae Welder; his granddaughter Caroline Kern (Buster); and his sisters, Marcie Eggen and Paula Welder. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (309 4th Ave NW, Mandan, ND 58554). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit (520 Raymond St, Bismarck, ND 58501).
Tony's legacy lives on through his family, his contributions to pharmacy, his dedication to small business advocacy, and the many lives he touched along the way.
