She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Benson and Susan Benson (Bull); her siblings, Troy, David "Boops", Myrna and Yvonne; her granddaughter Shania; and her nephews, Wendell Benson and Phillip Tecumseh.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Benson (Sherri) and Loray; her grandchildren, Philip Benson, Corwin Grey, Leland Shay and Lars Shay; and her brothers, Joseph Benson and Kirby Benson. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.
