She was predeceased by: her parents, Einar Grande and Helen Grande (Snavely); and her children, Vicki and David Higgins. She is survived by: her husband Dan; her child Jolien Schwan (Chuck); her grandchildren, Jaiden and Victoria of West Fargo, ND; her son Randy Higgins (Tara); her grandsons, Ethan and Jaxon of Fargo, ND; her son Brent Higgins (Dana); her grandchildren, Sophia, Scarlett and Daxton of Red Wing, MN.; and her siblings, John Grande (Judy) of Regina, Gloria Mitchell (Ron) of Andover, MN and Lori Heintz (Jim) of Union, WA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Rock Lake Community Center (38 Forrest St, Rocklake, ND 58365). A family service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family was able to take a memorable trip to Washington, D.C., courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation to meet President Clinton in the White House and tour all the monuments.
