She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Marthaller and Katherine Marthaller (Kuntz); her daughter Leah; and her siblings, Marvin (Ida) and Marlene Wagendorf.

She is survived by: her son Barry Burwick (Deb) of Beulah; her grandson Austin Burwick of Grand Forks; her stepgrandchildren, John Richter (Amber), Megan Richter and Darlene Richter; her brothers, Jim (Regina), Larry (Caroline), Robert (Twila) and Stanley (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Donald Wagendorf and Bev Sivak. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
