She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Rowe and Elsie Rowe (Tyler); her husband Harry Hanks; her son-in-law David Creel; her grandson Nathan Sailer; her parents-in-law, Howard and Vivian Hanks; and her siblings-in-law, Peter Reichardt, Bruce Hanks (Lydia) and Corinne Christensen (Keith).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hilz (Gordon) of Beulah, Connie Mindt (Jacob) of Beulah, Barbara Sailer (Sidney) of La Feria, TX, Debora Heringer (Lester) of Beulah and Darrel Hanks (Patrice) of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Paul Hilz (DeAnn) of Bismarck, Janae Neuberger (Ken) of Beulah, Tiffany Wood (Jamie) of Keller, TX, Joshua Mindt (Christy) of Beulah, Natalie Zapata (Hito) of Buena Park, CA, Jennifer Sailer of Goddard, KS, Heather Funk (Scott) of Hebron, Daniel Hanks of Minneapolis, MN and Virginia Wasmund (Samuel) of Maple Grove, MN; her great grandchildren, Heidi, Troy Hilz, Logan, Landon Neuberger, Jacob, Lucas, Audrey Wood, Eli, Colton Mindt, Bon, Emily, Megan Zapata, Holden, Cole Sailer, Peyton, Taylor Funk and Viviana Wasmund; and her sister Bonnie Goetz (Don).
The family prefers memorials be sent to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Beulah, ND, in lieu of flowers.
