With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lou Alice Schlaffman of Beulah, North Dakota, who passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Froescher and Hildegard Froescher (Sandau); her husband Herbert Messmer of Halliday, ND.; her son Kevin Messmer; her siblings, Leroy and Myra; and her niece Debbie.
She is survived by: her children, Marc Messmer of Grand Forks, ND and Karen Murray (Jerry) of Chaska, MN; her grandchildren, Scott, Danika, Kyle, Shawn, Nathan and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Logan, Ryan, Maris, Paisley, Sylvia, Genevieve, Caroline and Barrett; and her sister Ramona Johnson (Ralph) of Zap, ND. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
