We bid farewell to LaVerne Kusmenko of Beulah, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 10, 2024 at the age of 97. LaVerne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Wiedrich (Boeckel) and Rudolph Wiedrick; her daughter Carol Boeckel (Gaylen); her daughter-in-law Barbara Kusmenko (Calvin); and her brothers, Marvin, Neil and Arnold Wiedrick.
She is survived by: her son Calvin Kusmenko; her son-in-law Gaylen Boeckel (Carol); her grandchildren, Jason Kusmenko (Liza), Jody Bauer (Chris), Terry Boeckel (Yin), Teresa Boeckel and Tonya Eiseman (Trent); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Claire, Charlie Bauer, Turner, Tysen Eiseman, David Boeckel and Nicholai Kusmenko; and her siblings, Dale Wiedrick (Claudia), Irene Fehr (John), Luella Martin, Leslie Wiedrick (Katie) and Laura Wiedrick (Arnold).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barbot Funeral Home (1301 ND-49, Beulah, ND 58523). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Prairie View Church of God (2200 2nd Ave NW, Beulah, ND 58523).
