He was predeceased by: his father Ken. He is survived by: his wife Kim; his mother Lois; his children, John (Felicia), Janalle (Shawn) and Sarah (Nick); his grandchildren, Mason, Nova, Avery, Wesley, Will, Jamison, Norah and Alera; and his siblings, Kenny, Kathy (Wes), Rita (Stephen), Dawn and Teresa (Roy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
