He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Huss and Minnie Huss (Clausen); his brothers, Leonard, Vernon and Deway; and his half-siblings, Helmer, Ivan and Agnes Bustad.
He is survived by: his former wife Becky West (Paulson); his wife Doris Abrahamson; his son Alan of Sunset, UT; his grandson Brady (Fargo, MD); and his stepsons, Mark of Hudson, FL, Barry of Sawyer, ND and Brent of Beulah, ND.
In 1995 he married Doris Abrahamson and resided in Beulah, North Dakota, until moving to Hudson, FL in 2015, where he was diagnosed with Parkinson's.
