He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Hausauer and Christina Hausauer (Flemmer); his wife Anna Unruh of Beulah; and his siblings, Carl, Reinhold, Alex, Herb, Fred, Gary, Dale Hausauer, Ida Voegele, Martha Huber and Viola Martin.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joyce Mclanahan (Arlen) and Rick Schmidt (Teri); his stepgrandchildren, Shawn Mclanahan, Troy Mclanahan and Eric Schmidt; his stepgreat-grandchild Shawn; and his sisters, Pauline Frank, Elsie Opp (Wilbert), Ella Fandrich and Linda Dallman (Tom). He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
